In 1976 he founded Henderson Land Development which deals with, along with real estate, hotels, restaurants and even internet services. It is through Henderson Land Development that he has made the majority of his wealth.
Alongside his real estate interests, Lee Shau Kee has also accrued significant profits via his mainland-controlled stocks. It is these dealings that gave rise to him being known as Asia’s Master of Stock.
