Aksa Mahmud Biography
Aksa Mahmud started out in business in the 1970’s in a Datsun dealership, but it was as the founder of Bosowa Corp where he made his reputation and fortune. The company was predominantly a producer of cement, however it did successfully branch out into different markets and industries including Automotive, Mining, Property and Financial Services, among others.
He moved into politics, becoming a member of the Constitutional Committee of the Regional Representatives Faction South Sulawesi in 1999, progressing to the Regional Representatives Council representing South Sulawesi in 2004.
