Philip Ng is the chairman of Far East Corporation (FEO) the largest property developer and private landlord in Singapore. He is the youngest son of its founder Ng Teng Fong - the man who became known as the “King of Orchard Road” due to his company’s buildings changing the face of the iconic shopping district, and when he died in 2010 at the age of 82, was the richest person in Singapore. His two sons now run the business, still very much along the Christian lines their father established. While Philip oversees the Singapore operation, older brother Robert runs Sino Group, the Hong Kong arm.

FEO, widely considered to be one of the most successful family businesses in Asia is responsible for 1 in every 6 residential properties sold in Singapore. Between them Philip and Robert Ng are worth over US$12 billion.
