Bang Jun-hyuk, a South Korean billionaire, is the founder of Netmarble. Unlike the vast majority of South Korea’s tech entrepreneurs, millionaires and billionaires, Bang did not attend university, even dropping out of high school.
He founded Netmarble in 2000, using $88,000 investment and built it into Korea’s largest mobile-gaming company, famous for its RPG (role playing games) that have achieved acclaim and success around the world. The company went public in 2017, raising $2.4 billion.
