Koo Kwang-mo Biography
Koo Kwang-mo is the chief executive and chairman of LG, and a billionaire in his native country of South Korea. He was the nephew of Koo Bon-Moo, the former chairman of LG, who in 1994 lost his biological son and adopted Koo Kwang-mo as his own.
When his adopted father died in 2018, Kwang-mo inherited his shares and took over as chairman. At just 41 years of age he was the youngest chairman of any of the major conglomerates in South Korea.
