Jason Chang, along with his younger brother Richard is the founder of Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc (ASE). The company has its headquarters in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and provides assembly and test manufacturing services of semiconductors. It was founded in 1984 by the brothers and is now reputed to be the world’s leader in its field.

Jason Chang is a resident of Taipei, though a Singapore citizen. He gained a Bachelor of Arts/Science at National Taiwan University. He is the chairman of ASE with his brother in the vice-chairman role. The two are also the majority investors in Sino Horizon, the Chinese property developer.
