Pierre Chen Biogrophy

Pierre Chen was born into a middle-class family in Kaoshiung, Taiwan in 1958. He went to National Cheng Kung University, gaining a degree in engineering. He founded Yageo in 1977, a company that manufactures a wide range of electronic components that go into a multitude of end products including cell phones, tablets and automobiles. In 1993 it went public.

Pierre Chen is still the chairman at Yageo, and in his spare time he collects art.
