The four Wei brothers consist of Ing-chou, Ying-chiao, Yin-chun and Yin-heng. They own and run Tingyi (Master Kong) which is one of the largest noodle and beverage producers in Asia, and the largest instant noodle maker in China. It was founded as recently as 1991, floating on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange five years later in 1996. It is a subsidiary of Ting Hsin International Group, which was established by the Wei family in 1958.

The Wei brothers also own the mainland China fast food chain Dicos, and several high-profile real estate properties both in Taiwan and on the mainland.

Yin-Chun became embroiled in the cooking oil scandal of 2018 and was sentenced to almost six years in jail.
